RSL's Game-by-Game Top Performers
Since the year has come to a close for RSL, I have stopped voting and will be focusing on presenting some interesting stats throughout the next few weeks. If you have not noticed, you can view season stats and averages in the ratings section (the navigation bar close to to top). Also, you can check out each players individual stats and averages game-by-game by clicking their name. Lastly, stats I present will not include the US Open Cup game on 4/30. I will be clearing all stats and ratings associated with that game in the near future, so we will only see MLS regular season games.

Real Salt Lake vs New York Red Bulls
Rio Tinto Stadium gets christened as Real Salt Lake take on the New York Red Bulls. The first goal came on a save from Beckerman that left a sitting duck for Dave van den Bergh to latch on and fire a low strike through several RSL players. However, Jamison Olave continued the trend of center backs finishing on inaugural home games (Brian Dunseth scored the first goal in Rice Eccles) with a corner kick from Javier Morales that bounced right to Olave's legs in the middle of the box.
Which RSL will finish the season in October?
Real Salt Lake has split up the season into three different trends (2 negative 1 positive).
The first 9 games of the season saw a slow starting team trying to gel. The first full off-season for Kreis and Lagerway featured more than half of the players not from the previous off-season roster. So, the slugglish start can be attributable to the team getting used of playing with one-another.

Who helps Real Salt Lake pick up results? (and Matias Mantilla news)
First off, if you haven't heard, Matias Mantilla sounds to be pretty much done with RSL. Eric Salsbery (Deuce) reports this.
Next, we're off to my wonderful fascination with statistics. This time I decided to look at the team as a whole as compared to my fixation on a single player.
