Well, there is the oft-used saying 'forwards just need to get goals'. Most of the time, fans will not care if their beloved scorer does not do anything productive towards possession or team-work, as long as they score goals. So, I decided to see the difference between the average ratings when a forward scores at least one goal compared to not scoring a goal in a game.

Goals galore! Only the second 7 goal game in RSL's history of league games. Interestingly enough, the other 7 goal game was a 4-3 loss @ Houston Dynamo last year. RSL gets each of the first two goals answered within minutes from the reigning champions. Then, a great 30 yard shot by Ricardo Clark and a break-down in RSL's defense lets Nate Jaqua have an easy goal to give Houston the 4-2 lead at the break.

Real Salt Lake form (DLWL): RSL's record away from Rice Eccles is 0-2 coming into this game. RSL came from a very disappointing first half against Toronto FC. Kreis said, "I think we came out tactically and played that game a little bit wrong, to be honest." RSL did come out in the second half which a better approach to the game, and reversed the roles of this game. However, Toronto was the only team with a goal in the end.
